YEREVAN. – Armenia’s investigation committee has opened criminal case in connection with the killing of 46-year-old Russian citizen in Yerevan.
The man was found Monday with gunshot wounds in his apartment in Yerevan.
Police appointed examination after finding a gun while searching the apartment.
It was revealed that Hamlet Asatryan, a citizen of Russia and Armenian by origin, arrived in Yerevan on July 9 and lived in an apartment where he was found dead.
The body was found by his brother-in-law G. Aroyan who came to the apartment and opened the door by his key after not receiving a call from his relative.
