YEREVAN. – The Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Sergo Karapetyan, on Friday had a farewell meeting with Ambassador Traian Hristea, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, who is ending his mission in the country.

First, the minister thanked the EU delegation leader for his work carried out during his mission in Armenia, and for the close cooperation in agriculture.

Karapetyan added that, thanks to bilateral cooperation, more tangible results were achieved in recent times in Armenia’s agricultural sector.

Ambassador Hristea, for his part, expressed a conviction that bilateral cooperation will reach a higher level during the mission of the next head of the EU delegation to Armenia. At the same time, he assured that the EU will continue supporting and assisting Armenia.

At the end of the talk, Minister Sergo Karapetyan wished Ambassador Traian Hristea professional success in his future activities.
