The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, taught renowned French actor Gérard Depardieu how to scythe, informed the official website of the Belarusian leader.

Depardieu arrived in Belarus on a visit.

Lukashenko, in an informal atmosphere, chat with the guest about agriculture, and the technologies to grow ecologically clean food.

The president of Belarus also held a brief tour of the area of his presidential residence, and showed the French actor the types of Belarusian agricultural machinery, reported Lenta.

In January 2013, Gérard Depardieu was granted Russian citizenship.
