YEREVAN. - The arrest of Arayik Yenokyan, nephew of Armenia’s former MP Gohar Yenokyan, has been cancelled, but he continues to stay in custody, his attorney Gegham Hakobyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am. Along with cancelling the arrest, Yenokyan’s amnesty with regard to swindling has also been cancelled. For this very reason he hasn’t been released. The ruling will be appealed.

Earlier, charges against the former MP Gohar Yenokyan from Prosperous Armenia party were dropped. The investigation revealed that along with her nephew, Yenokyan was premeditating the death of Karo Karapetyan, former member of Prosperous Armenia party.
