The communist parties of Ukraine have been banned from taking part in election campaigns, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksandr Turchynov, informed that communist organizations lose the right to be a subject of political and electoral processes.

In his words, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine had taken the respective decision.
