YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of gratitude to the Belgium PM Charles Michel for the acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide by the country’s legislative and executive authorities.
According to Sargsyan, the resolution passed by the House of Representatives makes complete the process of the Armenian Genocide acknowledgement by Belgium.
In the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the President also attached importance to the consolidation of the international community efforts aimed at the prevention of new crimes against humanity and new genocides.
