The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, confirmed the reports that Turkish fighter jets have conducted air strikes on the positions of Kurdish militants in northern Iraq, reported Reuters news agency.
In Erdogan’s words, simultaneously with this operation, the Turkish Armed Forces have struck ground targets in Syria, and to destroy Islamic State militants, reported Gazeta daily of Russia.
