Opposition Prosperous Armenia Party ex-Chairman, MP, and oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan has donated US$500,000 to the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, and to Syrian Armenians.

Aztag Armenian daily of Lebanon reported about the aforementioned.

Tsarukyan, at the invitation of Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church, on Friday traveled to Lebanon, where he visited the Mother Cathedral of Antelias.

Next, he met with Aram I.

And after the meeting, Gagik Tsarukyan announced that he will be donating $500,000 to the Catholicosate, and to Syrian Armenians.
