STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the entire Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 320 times, over the weekend.
During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 5,000 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle and artillery weapons, mine throwers and grenade launchers, and over 200 shots by way of machine guns, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.
As a result of the operational measures taken by the vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, the adversary’s aggressive actions were silenced.
