The police detained four persons during a protest staged by three university students in Izmir, Turkey.

The law enforcement officers used violence against and subsequently detained three university students that were protesting for their friends that had participated in protests and were detained recently in Izmir, reported Demokrathaber website of Turkey.

In the meantime, a person walking by the street berated the police for their violence against these youth, whereupon the officers of the law detained this person, too.
