YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 478.29/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is down by AMD 0.36 from Thursday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 524.92 (down by AMD 0.25), that of one British pound was AMD 744.41 (down by AMD 3.29), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.92 (down by AMD 0.15), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 225.12, AMD 16,722.9 and AMD 15,131.34, respectively.
Friday’s trading totaled USD 4,890,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 477.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 477.5/$1.
