The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, had a telephonic conversation with the First Vice President of Iran, Eshaq Jahangiri.

The interlocutors conferred on several matters that are on the agenda of Armenian-Iranian relations.

They reflected on the joint projects and programs to develop trade and economic relations.

The two officials also reached an agreement on starting construction of the third Iran-Armenia electricity transmission line.

During the telephone talk, the Iranian vice president reaffirmed that he will come to Armenia on an official visit within year.

Abrahamyan and Jahangiri also exchanged views on regional developments.
