A young man fell from quad and died at the scene in Tsaghkadzor town of Armenia’s Kotayk province. Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations was alerted to the incident at 15:21 on August 1.
Kotayk province operative group arrived at the scene. It turned out that Yamaha quad overturned on the mountain path in Tsaghkadzor, this resulting in the immediate death of the driver, Levon T., 20. The firefighters and rescuers de-energized the quad. According to Shamshyan.com, the young man had arrived in Armenia to take part in the 6th Pan-Armenian Games.
