Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg, and the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, on Thursday officially opened the NATO joint training center in Georgia.

The event was held nearby capital city Tbilisi. 

The NATO training center has opened in Georgia within the framework of the measures that assist the country in its aspirations to become a NATO member.  

Military servicemen from NATO and its partner countries will train in this center, reported Sputnik Georgia news agency.
