YEREVAN. – The Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC has announced a contest for audit services, informed the ENA in a statement.
Accordingly, the terms of reference for conducting an audit of the expenditures from 2009 to 2014, and their conformity with and implementation of the procedures that were agreed upon, are prepared through joint efforts by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia, and the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
According to preliminary data, the said audit will be conducted for approximately three months.
The contest proposals shall be submitted by September 30, when the respective envelopes will be opened.
ENA Spokesperson Natalya Sarjanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the contest is international.
There is no limit for the audit cost.
In addition, the Deloitte & Touche CIS consulting company, which will provide consulting to the Government of Armenia with respect to management, is expected to complete its analysis on the country’s energy system by mid-December.
