YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan today conveyed a message of condolence to the Dalibaltayan family in connection with the death of Armenian Lieutenant General Gurgen Dalibaltayan.

“Gurgen Dalibatyan’s contribution to the army building of the Republic of Armenia is invaluable. His name is inseparably linked to the preparation and implementation of the most important military actions during the Artsakh Liberation War.   

Being the first Head of Armenia’s Armed Forces General Staff and the chief inspector of the republic for many years, the prominent general used his rich knowledge and decade-long experience to serve our national liberation struggle and victories of the Armenian Army,” the message reads in part.
