Several Turkish construction workers were kidnapped in Iraq.
The Iraqi authorities informed that masked men had abducted eighteen Turkish manual workers that were working at the construction site of a sports complex in capital city Baghdad, reported Sözcü daily of Turkey.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed this information, and stressed that it is in intensive contact—regarding this matter—with the Turkish embassy in Iraq, and the latter’s security agencies.
