YEREVAN. – The recent escalation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border is a common thing, Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan said.
The hero of Artsakh war recalled that Azerbaijan had always violated ceasefire.
“Azerbaijan has to show they have weaponry. They are doing so also to scare their people as situation in Azerbaijan is far from being peaceful. People of different religions and different languages, they all know they have problems, while Azerbaijani authorities are trying to hold the tension,” he told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.
Since September 1 the Azerbaijani side has been intensively violating ceasefire by firing on the villages of Tavush Region.
