YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Saturday chaired a provisory out session of the Cabinet, and within the framework of the Shant (Lightning) 2015 strategic command and staff military exercises being held throughout Armenia, from Thursday to Sunday.

The main objective of this “special” Cabinet meeting was to examine, on location, the key issues facing potential refugees, and to immediately resolve these issues.

Prior to taking up the session’s agenda item, however, the PM—in accordance with the Shant 2015 scenario—received a group of migrants and got familiarized with their matters of concern.

Abrahamyan also instructed heads of the relevant state departments to quickly resolve the issues raised by these refugees.

In addition, a government decision was adopted regarding the matter that was introduced.
