YEREVAN. – The Huawei and Ericsson companies are also expected to participate in the 11th DigiTec Expo which will be held between October 2 and 4 in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), Karen Vardanyan, stated about the aforementioned on Wednesday.

The DigiTec annual exhibition of technology is organized by the UITE, and held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Armenia.

In Vardanyan’s words, overall, 130 companies will partake in this year’s event, and the number of visitors is expected to exceed 40 thousand.

“Companies from the US, China, Russia, Sweden, Iran and [several] other countries are invited,” added the UITE boss. “Of course, there will be a large number of Armenian companies, and Armenian entrepreneurs from abroad.

“We will endeavor to organize the exhibition at the highest possible level.”
