YEREVAN. - Armenian police gave time to the protestors who blocked Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue to free the part of the street meant for driving. Otherwise, Yerevan’s Deputy chief of police Valery Osipyan said, the police will hold those disturbing the public order liable. According to him, the protestors are violating the provisions of the Law on Freedom of Assemblies, limiting the citizens’ constitutional right to free movement (photos).

The protestors are scanning “Cancellation,” “We are the masters of our country,” “Baghramyan is ours,” etc.

At the moment Baghramyan Avenue is crowded with policemen, who have formed a barrier consisting of several rows.
