YEREVAN. - The criminal case on the murder o an elderly French citizen, 78, has been filed with the court.
The crime took place in December 2011 in Armenia's village of Parakar, Armenia’s Judiciary portal reports.
Late Monic Harley had arrived in Armenia with Gevork Kh. Shortly after her arrival in Armenia, the woman was found dead. Gevorg Kh., who was wanted on charge of killing the 78-year old French woman, was detained and taken to Armenia via Casablanca – Moscow – Yerevan flight through the efforts of the Armenian police and Interpol.
During the investigation, it turned out that after the murder, Gevorg Kh. stole the woman’s bank cards and moved to the Moroccan city of Marrakesh in January 2012, where he settled in Monic Harley’s house, gaining possession of all her fortune.
