STEPANAKERT. – Aside from the three casualties announced on Monday, the Azerbaijani army has had six more during the last confrontation on the same day at the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ministry of Defense (NKR MOD) has informed the abovementioned in a statement.

As per the NKR MOD, Baku has attempted to attribute the real number of its casualties to the Karabakh side, and this shows that the Azerbaijan MOD continues to conceal the real number of its casualties.

The NKR MOD added that Azerbaijan, despite its aforesaid casualties, continues to intensively violate the ceasefire.

Accordingly the adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 110 times, from Monday to early Tuesday morning.

During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 1,600 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars, and grenade launchers.

The adversary also opened fire on the Armenian military positions from reactive rocket propelled howitzers (TR-107).

Vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, confidently carry out their military tasks, and resort to retaliatory actions, if needed.
