YEREVAN. – The European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe (CoE) will implement human rights projects in the correctional institutions of Armenia.

These projects will be carried out within the framework of the 2015-2017 program cooperation mechanisms.

These measures will help the EU Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries implement democratic reforms.

The projects are funded by the EU and co-funded and implemented by the CoE.

Four such projects will be carried out in Armenia.

Armenia also participates in fourteen EaP regional programs.
