YEREVAN. – We hope that Azerbaijan will eventually come to its senses.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Shavarsh Kocharyan, told the aforesaid to reporters, after Thursday’s Cabinet session.

He noted this commenting on the Azerbaijani side’s most recent aggressive and provocative actions at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

“Azerbaijan has passed all bounds, and this not only about the violation of the ceasefire regime, but also [about] the insolent apathy which Baku allows [itself] in the matter of international rights and its commitments,” stressed Kocharyan. “At the end of the day, we have a ceasefire agreement, whereas Azerbaijan is trampling on international law and behaving like terrorist.”

The Armenian deputy FM also expressed a view that, with such conduct, Azerbaijan accelerates the process of recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
