STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 900 times, from September 27 to October 3.
During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 9,000 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars and grenade launchers, informed the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.
The adversary also opened fire on the Armenian military positions from reactive rocket propelled howitzers (TR-107).
Vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, are in command of the operational and tactical situation, and they resort to preventive and punitive actions, if needed.
