YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan extended his congratulations to People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia and the ex-USSR, Armenian renowned theatre and film actor and director Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, on the occasion of his 80th birth anniversary.

“You, by crafting numerous brilliant and unforgettable characters, have greatly contributed to the development of Armenian and Russian theater and cinema,” the President’s message specifically reads. “You, as a great master of the [theater] stage and the [movie] screen, enjoy the love of and approval by the audience for decades.

“Armenia loves you, is proud of you, and admires your unique talent.”
