YEREVAN. – The Embassy of Brazil in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, has kicked off the screening of several movies by renowned Brazilian filmmaker Guel Arraes.
And the showing of Brazilian comedy films got underway with Caramuru: A Invenção do Brasil (Caramuru: The Invention of Brazil), in Portuguese, with English subtitles.
Brazilian Ambassador Edson Marinho Duarte Monteiro welcomed those in attendance in Armenian, and noted that the young filmmaker has already received numerous awards.
