YEREVAN. – A monitoring on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan did not reveal ceasefire violation cases.

The monitoring was held near Berdavan village in Armenia and Kemerli village in Azerbaijan.

From the Armenian side, the monitoring was conducted by field assistants of the personal representative of OSCE chairperson-in-office Irji Aberle, Khristo Khristov and Simon Tiller. Yevgeny Sharov and Peter Swedberg carried out monitoring from the Azerbaijani side.

The monitoring started at 12p.m and lasted 15 minutes, but the groups failed to establish visual contact due to a heavy fog. No incidents have been registered.

Berdavan village has been recently intensively shelled by the Azerbaijani side. Two women were killed, and another three people were wounded.
