YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, on Saturday attended the award ceremony of Europa Nostra, the pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage.

Accordingly, the training program, entitled Preserving Cultural Heritage in Armenia, has received an award in the Europa Nostra category for “Education, training and awareness-raising.”

This program was carried out based on the technical agreement which the Ministry of Culture of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy had signed.

Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, speaking at the award ceremony, underscored the presentation of this Europa Nostra award to Armenia. She stressed that the Armenian government constantly focuses on the preservation of cultural heritage.
