YEREVAN. – A VAZ 2107-model vehicle driven by Andranik Hayrapetyan, 21—a resident of Tsovak village—, and a Volkswagen Vento driven by Harutyun Hakobyan, 38—a resident of Akunk village—, had crashed on October 24, on the Vardenis-Martuni motorway in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia.

Vardan Simonyan, 35, Gagik Hovhannisyan, 37, and the Volkswagen’s driver are military servicemen, and they were hospitalized with injures as a result of the collision.  

Harutyun Hakobyan, however, died Thursday, at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Central Clinical Military Hospital in capital city Yerevan, without regaining consciousness.
