An officer, who serves in the armed forces of Iraqi Kurdistan in Northern Iraq, has become a much debated topic in the social networking websites of Turkey, and due to his close resemblance to Joseph Stalin, a former leader of the Soviet Union.

The respective photos, which have been released, are taken during the fight against the Islamic State.

But there are no data on the name of, or any other information about this peshmerga—i.e. the military forces of the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan—officer.
