Iran’s oil minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh said they have asked OPEC to reduce oil production, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
“OPEC is producing more than its ceiling,” Zangeneh noted. “And I asked them to reduce production and respect the ceiling.”
In his words, however, this does not mean that Iran will not produce more oil.
“It is our right to return to the market,” the Iranian minister added.
