Muslims who were among the migrants heading to Italy from Libya in a boat threw 12 passengers overboard because of their being Christian, Gazeta reports, citing CNN.

Italian authorities have arrested 15 people on suspicion of the given crime upon the boat’s arriving in Palermo.

There were overall 105 people in the boat, many of whom confessed they survived only because they formed a “human chain”.
