The December issue of the popular authoritative scientific journal GEO is dedicated to Armenia.

In the article “Armenia: Lessons for future,” the famous journalist Dmitry Gubin tells about his impressions from his trip to Armenia, attaching special attention to the implementation of the ongoing educational projects and the potential in that sphere.

“Classic Armenia - a country of churches with stone roofs and mountains of “hoarse ochre” coloring, as poet Osip Mandelstam wrote – suddenly turns into a country…of schools. What do they teach there? Future,” the author writes. 

Presenting the activity of UWC Dilijan college and “Tumo” Center for Creative Technologies, the journalist notes: “Armenia will indeed surprise us in 25 years.”

The visit of the Russian journalists to Armenia was held by the Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) fund. In the framework of the tour, representatives of Russian media got familiar with the tourist capacities of Armenia, as well as the projects implemented by the IDeA fund.
