The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) countries have turned down the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)—which is the executive body of the EEU—proposal to reduce the non-fee online trade threshold from 1,000 euros to 150 euros.
First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Alexey Likhachev, told the aforesaid to reporters, informed TASS news agency of Russia.
Vedomosti and Kommersant dailies of Russia had earlier reported that the working group of the EEC Council had developed two plans to lower the threshold of non-fee online trade.
The Eurasian Economic Union member states are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
