The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed a decree recalling Elkhan Gahramanov from the position of the country’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, reported AZERTAC, the Azerbaijan state news agency.

Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay Mammad Ahmadzadeh, ambassador to Estonia Tofig Zulfugarov, ambassador to Turkmenistan Vahdat Sultanzadeh, and ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov were recalled as well.
