YEREVAN.  - Currently Armenia has enough fresh fruit and vegetables to export to Russia. Armenia’s Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan stated the aforementioned at the meeting with the representatives of about 20 exporters of fruit and vegetables.

Possibilities of increasing the export from Armenia, given Russia’s embargo on Turkish goods, were discussed at the meeting, Armenia’s Agriculture Ministry press-service reports.

“The list of the agricultural products, which Russia banned to import from Turkey, was officially issued today. New opportunities for export are opening up,” Karapetyan said. According to him, large exporters are already trying to increase the transport park.
