MOSCOW. - The CSTO countries have come out for the establishment of a wide anti-terrorist coalition.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said the aforementioned after the CSTO Collective Security Council session, as reported by Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

Sargsyan noted that the CSTO session took place against the backdrop of a very complicated situation due to the increased threat of international terrorism which has thrown out challenge to the international community, security of countries and entire regions.

“The statement on the current situation in the world, which was adopted today, stated the approaches on the most important matter today, namely the international terrorism counteraction. The CSTO states come out for the establishment of a wide anti-terrorist coalition on the basis of the provisions of the UN Charter, as well as norms and principles of the international law. I’m sure the effective struggle against terrorism cannot be carried out without reliably blocking its funding,” Sargsyan said.
