Azerbaijan intends to support the candidacy of FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov at the 2010 FIDE Election, Azerisport reports referring to President of Azerbaijani Chess Federation Elman Rustamov.
“Our position on the matter is clear. We will support candidacy of Kirsan Ilyumzhinov,” he said.
