YEREVAN. – If a major clash were to occur between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and due to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, this will lead to the unilateral destruction of Azerbaijan.  

Karabakh War veteran, Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan, said the aforementioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

In his words, this view is shared also by numerous analysts, Azerbaijan’s allies, and Turkey. 

“We [i.e. the Armenians] don’t want war, but Azerbaijan could resort to adventurism,” Ter-Tadevosyan stressed. “[And] based on international law, we can deal and we will deal the preemptive blow.”

He added that a very complicated situation has been created in Azerbaijan, and in terms of the condition of its national minorities.
