Armenia will join the agreement on the exchange of financial—including confidential— information within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

The objective of this document is to create conditions for the free movement of capital in the financial markets.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed First Deputy PM Igor Shuvalov to prepare, on behalf of the Russian government, the protocol on Armenia’s joining this agreement.

The government posted the respective order on the legal information official website, according to TASS news agency of Russia.

EEU member countries Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan had signed this document in December 2014.
