Istanbul Armenian Garo Paylan, who is a parliament member from the pro-Kurdish “Peoples’ Democratic Party” (HDP) of Turkey, announced that the publishing house of the Turkish parliament has given him a business card in Armenian.

He introduced his new Armenian-language business card, according to Cumhuriyet daily newspaper of Turkey.

“This became significant on the world mother language day [which is observed annually on February 21],” Paylan added. “[I] wish the same to all languages.”

Earlier, however, the Turkish parliament had refused to provide business cards in Kurdish.
