STEPANAKERT. - Karabakh Defense Ministry has refuted the subsequent Azerbaijani misinformation.

The disseminated statement reads: “The information disseminated by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry on that the Armenian forces allegedly tried to approach their positions in the night of March 3 to 4, but retreated after suffering losses, is once again the result of bright imagination of the adversary country’s military agency.  

Moreover, at about 3:20 pm today, the adversary applied mortars of different calibers in the southern direction of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces.  

To suppress the activeness of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army took punitive measures and forced the former to refrain from steps to further escalate the situation.”
