YEREVAN. - Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan today visited Armenia-based Technology and Science Dynamics (TSD) company, which deals with manufacturing of ArmTab tablets and ArmPhone phones. The company operates in “Alliance” free economic zone.

Abrahamyan toured the company and got familiarized with its manufacturing processes and future programs.

Since 2015, TSD has started introducing ArmTab tablets in Armenian schools. Thus, during 2015, 700 tablets were provided to schools. This program will continue this year.

The company’s production is sold both in Armenia and abroad.  Currently TSD has 177 employees, but it planned to gradually increase this number.

Talking to journalists, Abrahamyan underscored the importance of the company activity, noting that it is developing successfully and has a great future.

According to him, the government will continue supporting the IT sphere as a priority. In fact, the country’s Economy Ministry has been assigned to hold discussions on each program in that sphere, and also provide support if need rises.

To provide highly-qualified specialists to the IT sphere, the Government continues opening robotics clubs and engineering labs in the republic’s schools.
