YEREVAN. - ACBA Leasing CJSC is going to finance the sale of electromobiles and alternative fuel vehicles in Armenia, Acting General Manager of the company, Arsen Bazikyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“Currently almost all the major car brands imported to Armenia have at least one car with either electric or gasoline-electric hybrid engine included in their product range. Armenia already has such cars, but we expect to expand the market in the near future. One of the largest electromobile manufacturers is going to enter the republic, but I won’t name it yet. We are going to sign an agreement with him and offer available leasing for these cars,” Bazikyan said.  

According to him, they are also ready to provide financing to the filling stations for acquiring batteries for these cars.

“Of course, we will hardly manage this alone: Besides financing, investments in infrastructure are needed here. But with the support of the Armenian Government and Municipality of Yerevan, the task can be fully implemented,” te company president added.

ACBA Leasing is the largest leasing company in Armenia (about 80 percent of the market). As of the end of 2015, the company assets made up nearly12,75 bln AMD.
