STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army servicemen Vladimir Melkonyan, 20, sustained a fatal gunshot wound on Friday at around 12:20pm.
He was mortally wounded at the protection area of an NKR Defense Army military unit, and as a result of the shot fired by the Azerbaijani army.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident, informed the NKR Ministry of Defense.
