Chinese businessman Weng Mao, the former head of a major food company Guanshengyuan, was killed during a tourist trip on the mountain Yongtai (Henan Province), according to a facebook post of the Chinese news channel CCTV News made on April 22. The incident took place on April 19.
The death of 67-year-old entrepreneur was accidental. A monkey threw a stone at his head. Mao was immediately sent to the hospital, but doctors could not save his life. According to CCTV News, now the tourist route is closed. Mountain Yongtai area is known as the habitat of wild monkeys, says Lenta with a reference to the channel.
