YEREVAN. – The adventurism of Azerbaijani has dealt a serious blow to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement talks.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, stated the aforesaid during his joint Yerevan news conference Friday with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.

In Nalbandian’s words, the Armenian side, together with Russia and the other Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group co-chairing countries (US and France), is endeavoring to surmount the obstacles set by Azerbaijan.

The Armenian FM noted that, first and foremost, the ceasefire agreement should be fully restored, and conditions must be created toward putting the negotiations back to their normal course.

In his words, the use of force is unacceptable, and there is no alternative to a pacific resolution of this conflict.

“Azerbaijan shall not have a temptation that the conflict can be solved by force,” Edward Nalbandian added.
