STEPANAKERT. – The operational situation along the Karabakh-Azerbaijan armed confrontation zone has remained unchanged, from late Friday night to early Saturday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time the adversary violated the ceasefire agreement around 65 times along the entire frontline, and by way of rifle weaponry.

Also, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired from a mortar, grenade launchers, and an anti-aircraft autocannon, in a northeasterly (Martakert) direction of the armed confrontation zone.

As a result of the actions taken in response by vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, the adversary’s aggressive “activeness” was quelled.
